An unusual vintage Kigu powder compact featuring a map of New Zealand, combining Kigu’s British compact manufacture with a distinctive souvenir-style design.
The map forms the focal point of the lid and immediately separates this example from the floral, geometric and engine-turned decoration more commonly encountered on Kigu compacts.
Inside are the original mirror and powder compartment, retaining the practical fittings for which the compact was made.
