A lovely vintage Mascot powder compact featuring a delicate pink floral design against a textured cream ground, framed by a polished gold-tone case.
The softly coloured rose decoration and textured background give the lid considerably more detail than a plain enamel finish, while the circular 6.5 cm case has the neat proportions typical of Mascot’s mid-century vanity pieces.
This example is particularly complete, retaining its original Mascot powder puff together with its original presentation box.
Opening the compact reveals a clean interior with a clear, usable mirror. The hinge and clasp operate correctly and the compact closes securely.
Condition is excellent vintage overall. The enamel remains bright and attractive with only very minor signs of handling, while the interior has been particularly well preserved. The original box shows expected age and storage wear.
