A beautiful vintage Richard Hudnut Vanity powder compact, made in the USA and presented in its original box.
The gold-tone case features a striking radiating sunburst design with a small rectangular cartouche at its centre. Inside is a large clear mirror, powder compartment and the original Richard Hudnut branded powder puff.
The compact appears unused, with a beautifully clean powder compartment and its original puff still present.
There is noticeable surface loss to the small central cartouche, clearly shown in the photographs. Otherwise, the compact is in remarkably lovely condition. The original box has age-related wear and damage.
