A pretty vintage Stratton Lipview, decorated with a lovely embossed rose design against a textured gold-tone background.
The Lipview opens to reveal Stratton’s clever lipstick holder beneath a generous 6 cm oval mirror, designed as a glamorous little handbag accessory for applying or checking lipstick while out and about.
This example does show some signs of its vintage life. There is visible wear to the gold-tone finish at the ends of the lipstick holder, and when closed the Lipview sits very slightly off-centre. Neither affects its use – the hinge and clasp function as they should and the mirror remains lovely and clear.

Despite its little imperfections, it remains a very pretty and perfectly usable example of this much-loved Stratton design, priced accordingly.
