A beautiful vintage Stratton musical powder compact featuring a luminous pearlescent lucite lid decorated with musical notes, rhinestone accents and a gold-tone treble clef.
The compact has a scalloped gold-tone case and opens to reveal a clear mirror, powder compartment and original Stratton powder puff. The internal musical mechanism is working and plays “I Could Have Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady.
A particularly pretty and unusual Stratton design, with the lucite top displaying lovely depth and iridescence as it catches the light.
The compact measures approximately 8 x 7 cm.
Condition is excellent vintage condition with no obvious signs of use. The mirror is clear, the interior presents beautifully and the musical mechanism plays as it should. Please see all photographs for the exact condition and detailing.
