A striking vintage Stratton handbag notebook and pen set, complete in its original presentation box.
The rich cobalt blue front has a beautiful sunburst sheen beneath an unusual raised gold-tone circular motif, creating a wonderful contrast as it catches the light. The reverse is finished in textured gold tone and carries the familiar Stratton England plaque.
Open the case and the original notepad is still in place, with the slim matching Stratton pen fitting neatly along the side — a wonderfully clever little piece of handbag design from the days when keeping a notebook close at hand really did mean carrying one.
