Fabulous vintage Stratton powder compact featuring a striking black enamel lid set with a detailed diamanté terrier motif, framed by a softly scalloped gilt edge.

This is a substantial, heavy example measuring approximately 9 cm (3.5 inches) in diameter, with a bright gilt interior, clear mirror, and original sifter still in place. The compact appears unused, retaining excellent finish throughout, and comes with its protective pouch.

The original puff has disintegrated with age but has been left inside for collectors and completeness.
