A wonderfully unusual vintage Stratton “Lip View” handbag mirror complete with its original presentation box, instruction leaflet and branded insert card. This beautifully designed piece features a striking jungle-inspired tiger motif framed by elegant gold tone detailing, giving it a glamorous exotic feel so typical of late mid-century Stratton accessories.

Designed to clip onto a lipstick case, the Lip View allowed quick lipstick checks without needing to open a handbag compact — a clever and stylish little luxury accessory from an era when every handbag detail was beautifully coordinated.

The reverse features a built-in mirror with Stratton branding to the clip, while the decorative front panel displays rich black enamel-style detailing with tigers, tropical foliage and orange floral accents. The original box and paperwork make this a particularly collectible example and increasingly difficult to find complete.
