Vintage Clover Musical Compact: Mother of Pearl Abalone Inlay, Made in England

Vintage Clover musical powder compact featuring a beautiful checkerboard inlay of mother of pearl and abalone shell set within a gold tone frame.

This elegant rectangular compact has a striking iridescent lid with natural variation in the shell panels, giving a lovely shimmer in the light. A classic and highly collectible mid-century musical compact.

The interior retains its original pink Clover puff and original sifter insert and appears unused.

The built-in musical movement plays when opened. The tune is unknown and the music plays fast, but the mechanism is working.
