Vintage Green Enamel Powder Compact Art Deco Wave Design

A striking vintage powder compact finished in vivid apple green enamel with flowing silver wave decoration across the lid, giving it a strong mid-century modern look with clear Art Deco influence.

The compact measures approximately 8cm x 8cm (3.15 x 3.15 inches). It is solid and well made, opening to reveal a clean polished interior with a geometric engine-turned base, good clear mirror and intact original powder well lining.

There are no maker’s marks present, which is not unusual for European mid-century enamel compacts of this type. Construction, finish and styling place it most comfortably in the 1950s–1960s period rather than true 1930s Deco manufacture.

Condition is good vintage overall. There are scattered enamel losses, chips and surface wear to both front and reverse consistent with age and use, all clearly shown in the photos. The interior remains bright, clean and very usable.
